With BARMER eCare, you have access to your electronic medical record and can see what information your doctors have entered. Save important documents yourself, making your treatment safer and faster.

- Redeem e-prescriptions:
Receive e-prescriptions from your doctor's office in eCare. Redeem them at a pharmacy online or nearby and have your medications delivered or picked up. Your e-prescriptions for health apps (DiGAs) and for orthopedic devices such as insoles and supports can also be redeemed digitally.

- Keep track of your medications:
All prescribed medications are automatically added to your medication list in the BARMER eCare app. Replenish over-the-counter medications, activate the medication reminder, and play it safe with the drug interaction check.

- Understand lab values:
Enter your lab values, track their development, and learn what the values ​​mean using the glossary.

- Facilitate medical treatment with treatment history:
Quickly get an overview of your prescribed medications, diagnoses, or hospital stays. You can share your treatment history with your practice to optimally tailor your treatment.

- Always be optimally protected with vaccination status:
View and find out when your next vaccinations are due at any time. Enter your vaccinations and see which ones are recommended for you.

- Control access to your patient record:
By inserting your health card, you grant a practice access to your record. With eCare, you manage permissions as you wish. You can share your record with a practice and shorten or extend the access period. It is also possible to block a practice.

- Manage files for relatives:
Also access the files of your children and relatives. You can use eCare to set up a representative and manage documents and permissions for others.

- Write to practices and BARMER:
Use chats with practices, BARMER, and others to securely exchange messages with your practices, other medical facilities, or BARMER.
