Connecting to my new Phomemo M221 worked quick and flawless, there were no problems to print the first few labels. BUT: An app that is required to operate a device, and that forces advertisements on you, is an absolute no-go. I already purchased the hardware for not much but good money. I expect the device that needs to be controlled by my phone to not harass me with advertising when I all I want to do is to print a label. Do better!

It works as exprcted on old Android versions (tested on v7). But: on current Android (v13) all batch processing features are broken! Barcode scanning, OCR detection, Excel data, voice recognition, all fail at some point! We purchased several print devices, all useless now. Devs, please update your software. By the way, the current Windows version has also several critical bugs.

When I first opened the app, it asked me my name and then proceeded to print a long label that was not needed. What a waste of tape! The app is ok but has a lot of "premium features" that you have to pay for. These are all mixed in with the free ones, which is annoying to navigate. Lastly, it connected to my printer fine, but it wouldn't let me print anything until I created an account. Cheers, I needed more spam emails!
