Came back to the game for a bit of nostalgia, it is still fun but it is just a cash grab at this point. Too many things behind paywalls, things take very long to load from breeding to hatching. And why so many ads? This game used to be all about creating various dragons in a fun and user friendly way, now you can't get strong dragons unless you pay for them. Everything is way too expensive, you can't progress easily if you don't buy expensive perks.

reduced rating from 3, to 2 The game has gotten progressively more grindy & pay to win but still some opportunities to have fun as a free to play player. there are too many in game currencies. Some are time-limited where you grind them for 3-4 days, spend them, and if you don't spend it, you lose it. This repeats a day or so later with another new currency. sticker albums introduced too much RNG into the game. you can definitely enjoy your game for a year or two before burning out.

when opening the app you have to click the x multiple times to get rid of ads that are trying to make you spend money. sometimes it's 3 sometimes it's 9. it takes hours to dread or build stuff. it's expensive especially with gems. the idea of the game is fun, collection dragons and dreading them to get more and even winning some fights are fun but it's the ads that make me not want to even open it
