Founded in 1806, the Hawthorne Asylum was active during a time when patients were treated less like people and more like lab rats.

Although closed down in the 50’s due to changing ethical standards it is said that experiments were still being conducted for decades to come.

This is the concluding episode to the Forever Lost story, if you haven’t played the previous two episodes then please go do that now, we can objectively say they’re awesome.

A first person point and click game filled with puzzles, objects, rooms, and more puzzles. Plus there’s an actual story for those players that are so inclined.

Super ending to a great series of games. Forever Lost 3 is the best conclusion this series could have gotten. It uses great graphics and a friendly UI to give you the best experience of the game. The sounds and music are once again top notch, enjoyable all around. The setting is even greater and larger than Forever Lost 2, but it retains all the charm and eerieness. And even though you have to run around the map at times, it isn't that annoying. The story is again very good, making you want to find out what happens in the end, but this time it also includes a plot twist at the very end, leaving you to figure what actually happened. And once again, the puzzles are great, challenging you in various ways to find the solution. Still, at times I think that some of the puzzles are a bit harder or too obtuse than they should have been. Lastly, the one major flaw I find in the game is that the hint system, although it tries to be helpful by grouping puzzles together, it ends up being annoying and hard to use, rendering you unable to know when to look for particular items or when to solve certain puzzles. Still, this won't detter form an otherwise awesome game.

Wow! Just finished playing this and what an amazing ending to an amazing game! It felt like a incredible experience trying to work my way through these puzzles. They were difficult to understand at times and would of been too confusing without the hints and occasionally a walkthrough guide. This story is addictive and very interesting to try and understand. I would consider the whole series some of the best I've played. Well done to the developers for creating something of a high standard.

Edit: The latest update looks to have fixed the missing 'play' menu option, however now all the in-game icons are overlapping. It is impossible to click on the 'back' button or open the photo album, rendering the game unplayable. Original review: We were enjoying this but we have encountered a game breaking glitch where if you save and try to return later, the 'continue' option is missing.
