I want to love this app, and to be fair, there's a lot to like. Offline maps, accurate traffic, good directions. A couple of things that are bugging me to no end though: there's absolutely no way to have the map be in the direction of travel on Android Auto screen when no destination is selected and no way to get rid of the search box in full screen view on Android Auto either. With those 2 issues fixed, this app would be 5*!

The UI is quite clear and easy, but functionally not suited for use as a driving monitor; that is, it cannot be used to check speed and position unless one has a destination set. Without a set destination, the screen closes as per timeout settings. As a driving monitor is a key function, this does not work for me, so I did not check its directions function to any great extent.

Great app and a much better alternative to Google Maps for navigation. It verbally warns of speed cameras, shows new ones, and helps with lane guidance, even in tricky roundabouts or junctions. However, it lacks hazard alerts such as accidents, breakdowns, potholes, police traps, tricky junctions, sudden slowdowns, and traffic lights, as well as real-time traffic accuracy, CarPlay/dashboard support, and points of interest reviewed by other users. Still a very reliable gps nav app for daily use.
