Absolutely awful, do not use this app or its services. Not only was it a lengthy and annoying process to get your documents accepted to start a rental, but even after they got accepted, they were rejected again when I tried to unlock the van, making me lose half a hour of rental time trying to get them accepted again. Then it wouldn't let me extend the rental time, making me have to pay a fine on top of the extension price. Finally it wouldn't let me stop the rental and I had to do it by call.

Apologies if you encountered issues during your rental. Please ensure to submit the documents once and don't update them during rental. Extensions only work if there is availability at the selected location.

vans a bit beaten up each time I have used them but working mechanically, missing fuel card this time and fuel under 1/4 when collected but that's not a reflection on hertz just the customer base in the area I guess. app is a little glitchy sometimes especially when out of signal which makes it difficult. would be good to be able to have a milage add on for the hourly rentals like for moving house for example.

Easily the worst customer service of any company I've ever worked with. The website to get to the app in the first place barely works, and after hours of figuring it out the app automatically rejected my application after misreading my ID in its automated check. it then told me (in french, for some reason) that I had run out of attempts to verify my ID, and to contact support. when I did, I got through to a bot who told me my entire process had been cancelled and that I could not make any appeal
