It's a persona game. It's for mobile devices. It's gacha, which saves your pull progress across all draws and isn't mandatory to progress. Do what you want with that information. But jokes aside, I really enjoy this game. No ads (aside for "purchase packs" once every update - and even those aren't thrown in your face) and the characters are enjoyable. The story isn't something groundbreaking, but we're still early in the game. P5's stakes were also a bit rough in the beginning. Just enjoy it.

The gameplay isn't bad, but it's clear that they've decided to focus on finding more ways to get people to spend rather than creating an enjoyable experience. Especially when we have previous versions to compare to, the global version is way stingier, consistently giving less rewards and increasing prices. Unless SEGA puts out a statement to at least commit to reward parity with the Chinese server, I can't recommend playing this game. At the very least, definitely don't spend on it.

Riddled with problems in its current state. Experiencing performance issues on a high end device that's not even a year old is something that shouldn't be happening (broken animations in exploration, fps issues, sluggish/unresponsive menus, etc.). Would be somewhat acceptable if the game was at least f2p friendly but it's not. No soft pity, overpriced bundles even by gacha standards, cutting the already poor rewards from CN server, moving up banners with no compensation. Dont waste time or money
